Nicki Minaj Blasts Critics Over Cancelled Shows, Joins American Idol

Nicki Minaj is a pure example of what happens when you don’t follow the doctor’s orders.

A few weeks ago, her doctor instructed her to take two weeks off to rest her voice after her North American Tour wrapped because she had strained her vocal chords, however, she went against his orders and continued to perform anyway. After she performed on ‘The Today Show’ and a free show sponsored by Pepsi last week, she had to cancel her performance at Britain’s V Festival and a show in Dublin because she had completely bruised her vocal chords. After she scrapped the two shows, she was criticized in the press and by less than understanding twitter followers which sent her into a frustrated rant:

I will NOT let you people make me feel horrible for a f*cking HEALTH issue! That’s what got me in this mess! I shldve listened 2 the doctor!

I am so thankful to my true fans who understand WHY I couldn’t play #VFestival & WHY I can’t play Dublin. Absolutely gutted However, if u have anything negative to say to me, please #EatSh*tAndDie – I am human. I was in jeopardy of losing my voice entirely and needing surgery on my vocal chord. If u can’t understand that, your mother’s a WHORE!!!!

Earlier today, she did tweet her Barbz that she had a surprise for them, but if the surprise is what we think it is, it looks as though US Magazine beat her to the punch. According to their source, she will be joining Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson as a judge on American Idol next season. #Ballin.
